Al Sabah was appointed as KIPCO’s Group CEO in early 2022, having been a board member since 2020. In 2021, the company recorded $2.4 billion in revenues, net profits of $23.8 million, and assets worth $33.7 billion. In March 2022, KIPCO announced an agreement to merge with Qurain Petrochemical Industries. Al Sabah is also the founder and chair of the board of trustees of the American University of Kuwait and the chairperson of the United Education Company. She sits on the boards of the Gulf Insurance Group, OSN, and Kamco Invest. She was previously the CEO of the Al Futtooh Holding Company.
