Al Ghamdi has been leading SNB, Saudi’s largest bank, since April 2021, when it was formed by the merging of the National Commercial Bank and Samba Financial Group. By the end of 2021, the bank recorded profits of $3.4 billion and assets worth $243.8 billion. Today, it has a presence in eight countries, with more than 500 branches and 476 self-service kiosks serving 11 million customers. Al Ghamdi is also the chairman of Jabal Omar and Manga Production and a board member of the Misk Foundation and the Institute of International Finance.
