Khansaheb was founded by Khansaheb Hussain bin Hassan Amad and is among the oldest construction companies in the Middle East. During its first year of operation, the company built the first motor track from Sharjah to Ras Al Khaimah. It also worked on the now-closed Al Maktoum Hospital in 1951, which was Dubai’s first hospital. Among its flagship projects are the Al Maqta Causeway, St Mary’s Church, and the original Sharjah Airport.
