Sallam has been in his current position since 2021. Madinet Masr owns a land bank of 12.8 million square meters. Its mega projects are Taj City and Sarai in East Cairo, and projects in Mostakbal City, and New Heliopolis. In 2024, it recorded revenues of $164 million with contracted sales of $810 million, up 37.1% compared to 2023, and had total assets of $491 million. Sallam is a member of the jury in Shark Tank - Egypt. He was also the founder and CEO of Minka Real Estate Investment, which was acquired by Madinet Masr in 2021.
