Knippenberg has been in her role since 2015. Kerten Hospitality expanded its portfolio with more than 57 projects planned across global destinations like Morocco, Saudi Arabia, the U.A.E, Rome, and the South of France as of March 2024. In February 2024, Kerten Hospitality and Hwadi revealed the upcoming 120-key Cloud 7 Hotel Project in Al Ahsa, Saudi Arabia. Knippenberg also serves on the Advisory Board of the Arabian Hotel Investment Conference, and the Saudi Arabia Hotel Investment Conference.
