Al Bastaki joined d3, a member of the TECOM Group, in 2015 and assumed her current role in 2019. d3 and the Arab Fashion Council launched Dubai Fashion Week, formerly known as Arab Fashion Week, in February 2023. In November 2024, the district held the tenth edition of Dubai Design Week. In December 2024, d3 partnered with Vogue Business to host the inaugural edition of Fashion Futures in Dubai, an event that is part of a global series about the sustainable future of the industry. Al Bastaki previously worked in management roles at Economic Zones World, Jebel Ali Free Zone, and DP World.
