Elsayed has been in her current role as CCO since 2018 and was appointed CEO of Legacy in November 2022. Legacy is a Hassan Allam company operating the Grand Egyptian Museum. In March 2024, Elsayed spearheaded the establishment of Hassan Allam Holding’s regional headquarters in Riyadh. El Sayed is also a chairman of Exergy Industrial Services company and a board member of PGESCO, Hassan Allam Construction, Kortech, Legacy, Intech, and Hassan Allam Utilities. She began her construction career at Skanska in Sweden before moving on to the U.K., where she worked at the construction and facilities management firm Carillion.
