Wahba assumed her current position in 2023 after joining Hassan Allam Utilities—the investment and development arm of Hassan Allam Holding—in 2021. In November 2024, Hassan Allam Utilities signed two power purchase agreements with Masdar, Infinity Power, and the Egyptian Electricity Transmission Company for the construction of 1.2 gigawatt solar projects and 720 MWh Battery Energy Storage Systems. Wahba has 26 years of industry experience. Before HAU, she was senior manager for the MENA region at the International Finance Corporation.
