Sorlini became the managing director and interim CEO of Abu Dhabi Airports in June 2023 and assumed her current role in February 2024. In the first nine months of 2024, Abu Dhabi Airports hosted 21.7 million passengers, an increase of 31.2% compared to 2023. Sorlini is also a board member at Abu Dhabi Airports and Abu Dhabi Aviation and was a director of the aviation cluster at ADQ. In December 2024, Abu Dhabi Airports announced the 90,000-square-meter East Midfield Cargo Terminal at the Zayed International Airport, which is set to handle up to 1.5 million tons of cargo annually.
