Kiyasseh developed an AI system that provides surgeons with feedback on their performance. This system can assess the quality of a comprehensive set of skills and explain the reasons for the assessment. He is working on drafting a provisional patent for his AI system. Kiyasseh also founded Arabs in Machine Learning, a non-profit organization focused on engaging researchers in the Arab world. Kiyasseh's previous work resulted in two patent applications with him as the primary inventor for the use of AI in cardiology, which were granted, and oncology, which will be issued soon.
