Incesu assumed her current role in 2020 after serving as vice president of commercial strategy, international since 2017. AstraZeneca employs 2,300 people in the Middle East and Africa (MEA). In 2023, AstraZeneca MEA achieved revenue growth of 25.7% and secured 97 approvals for its medicines across all its treatment areas, including cardiovascular and chronic kidney diseases, metabolic and respiratory diseases, oncology, and rare diseases.
