Hutchinson assumed his current role in early 2024, having served as president and CEO of Rotana since 2020. Hilton has over 300 hotels trading and under development in the Middle East and Africa. In March 2024, Hilton announced plans to develop Waldorf Astoria Residences Dubai Downtown, the first Waldorf Astoria residential address outside of the U.S., set to be completed in 2028. Hutchinson is also a member of Hilton’s Europe, Middle East & Africa executive committee. He previously held senior leadership roles at Hilton in Japan, China, Australia, and India.
