Abdul-Majeed founded Big On Group in 2003 and launched Big On Hospitality as a subsidiary in 2007. He cofounded Whissle, of which Big On Hospitality is a major shareholder, in 2009, which manages OKKU, CLAW BBQ, RIVA Ristorante, Sophie’s, Cielo Sky Lounge, and Casa de Tapas. When he first moved to Dubai in 2004, he worked as deputy head of strategy at Emirates NBD before pursuing a career in hospitality.
