Al Rostamani has been the group CEO of FAB since 2021. She has more than 25 years of industry experience and was the first female CEO of a U.A.E.-based bank. In the first nine months of 2023, FAB recorded profits of $3.4 billion. During COP28, FAB announced that it will lend, invest, and facilitate over $135 billion in sustainable and transition financing by 2030. Al Rostamani is the chair of the Global Council on the Sustainable Development Goals, and also sits on the board of Buna, the Institute of International Finance, and the International Institute for Management Development, amongst others.
