Mawared is a financially and administratively independent state-owned corporation that was initially established to develop treasury land earmarked for use by the Jordanian Armed Forces. It is working on the King Abdullah Bin Abdel Aziz City, which will transform the site of the armed forces camps in Zarqa into a modern city. New Abdali downtown is its other key project.
