Babatain’s research focuses on developing soft and flexible electronic platforms such as sensors and actuators, as well as fabrication strategies for healthcare and interactive applications. Her inventions introduced a novel multifunctional and physically compliant wearable platform that wirelessly monitors motion, temperature, humidity, and breathing patterns by using new materials such as laser-induced graphene and liquid metal-based electronics as the key sensing elements.
