Eldessouky and El Khatieb cofounded the proptech startup Seqoon in 2021 as a property co-ownership digital platform, enabling fractional ownership of vacation homes. It has launched in El Gouna and on the North Coast in Egypt and is now eyeing other holiday destinations, with more than 14 shares sold so far. In 2022, Seqoon raised a $500,000 pre-seed round. It plans to launch its first location outside of Egypt in Q4 2023.
