Fa’eq Ibrahim Sayegh established the Al Takadom Company to assemble bus bodies in Jaffa, Palestine, in 1932. The group expanded by establishing National Paint Factories in Jordan, the U.A.E., and Qatar. Today, the Sayegh Group has 35 subsidiaries and employs 5,000 people. Its investments span chemical, engineering, banking, and media. The group holds shares in the Jordan Commercial Bank, Roya TV, and Canning Industries Co.
