Al-Saadoon joined Sipchem as President of Operations and Manufacturing in 2001. The company recorded $6.5 billion worth of assets and $2.7 billion in revenues in 2021. It has operations in over 100 countries, serving 500 global customers. In January 2021, Al-Waha Petroleum Company, a subsidiary of Sipchem, announced that it had signed a $267 million facility agreement with Banque Saudi Fransi to refinance the company’s existing syndicated bank facility, with a maturity date in 2027. Al-Saadoon also sits on the board of the company, having previously served as chairman. Before joining Sipchem, Al-Saadoon held several managerial positions in SABIC.
