Ferjani made his senior Olympic debut at Rio 2016 finishing 25th in individual sabre before ranking 22nd in Tokyo 2020 and winning a silver medal in Men's Sabre Individual at the Paris 2024 Olympics. He previously won two medals at the 2019 African Games, including a gold in individual sabre and a silver in team sabre. He ranked third in the men's sabre individual senior rankings in the 2024/2025 season, according to the International Fencing Federation.
