Al Ghaithi was appointed to her current position in May 2023, where she plays a strategic role overseeing one of the world’s most advanced health data systems, integrating over four billion records, establishing one of the largest global genomics datasets, expanding with 300 new facilities, and screening over 200,000 citizens as of January 2025 through AI-powered tools for early detection. In October 2024, DoH signed an MoU with Accenture to solidify health data governance, elevate healthcare services, and enhance patient outcomes. It also launched an integrated healthcare mobile app, Sahatna, which provides access to a wide range of health and wellness services. In May 2024, DoH signed an MoU with GSK to establish a regional vaccine distribution hub in Abu Dhabi. Al Ghaithi was previously the CEO of SEHA – Ambulatory Healthcare Services Co., a subsidiary of PureHealth Holding.
