Nishi began her career with GM Canada in field sales and service in 1986 and has been the managing director and the chair of GM Egypt and North Africa since August 2022 and February 2023, respectively. As of September 2024, GM Egypt produced its millionth locally manufactured vehicle and invested over $530 million to expand and upgrade its products and manufacturing capability since its inception in 1983.
