Shaista Asif cofounded PureHealth in 2006 and became group COO in 2010. She assumed her current role in December 2023. In the first nine months of 2024, the group recorded $5.2 billion in revenues and had $13.2 billion in total assets. As of September 2024, its portfolio included over 100 hospitals, 300 clinics, 60 pharmacies, and more than 143 labs. In October 2024, PureHealth Holding launched a platform to connect remote and in-hospital healthcare services. In January 2025, PureHealth acquired a majority stake in Greece's Hellenic Healthcare Group at an enterprise value of $2.3 billion.
