Buhumaid joined Dubai Holding in 2006. In October 2024, Nakheel and Dubai Holding Real Estate partnered with the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority to develop two substations on Palm Jebel Ali for $73.5 million. Buhumaid previously worked in marketing and business development at Citibank in the U.A.E. She sits on the board of trustees at the Higher Colleges of Technology and Dubai Women’s Establishment and is a board member of Malta Properties.
