Al-Ghazzawi joined Riyad Bank in 1998 and assumed her current role in 2022. In November 2024, Riyad Bank, in collaboration with S&P Global, launched the Riyad Bank SME Index to track and assess the performance of the SME sector. Earlier, in July 2024, Riyad Bank introduced the first center for artificial intelligence technologies and services in the Saudi banking sector. In the first nine months of 2024, the bank recorded a net profit of $1.9 billion. Al-Ghazzawi was previously executive vice president of operations at Riyad Bank.
