El-Sherbeni joined the IDH Group in 2004 and has been CEO since 2012. In October 2022, IDH signed a joint venture agreement with Biolab and Izhoor Medical, a company owned by Fawaz Alhokair, to launch a full-fledged pathology diagnostic services provider in Saudi Arabia. IDH has been collaborating with the Ministry of Labor in Egypt to sponsor a safety forum for corporations and the industrial sector. In the first nine months of 2023, IDH recorded $185 million in total assets and revenues worth $98.5 million.
