Huda has been the managing director of AWR since 2007. Amina is an executive board member, the director, and the group’s COO, having been with the family business since 2018. In February 2024, the group partnered with ZEEKR to launch premium electric vehicles in the U.A.E. In June 2024, AWR Lifestyle became the exclusive distributor of the luxury watch brand Bianchet in the U.A.E. Amina is also a board member of HSBC Bank Middle East, the Al Jalila Foundation, Sandooq Al Watan, and Dubai Chambers. She is on the board of trustees of Ajman University and an advisory board member at the Tharawat Family Business Forum.
