The United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA) Monday urged the international community to increase funding for climate adaptation. ESCWA executive secretary Ms Rola Dashti stressed at the Climate Adaptation Summit 2021 that such funding was crucial for the Arab region.
