The international community is neither “willing” nor “ready” to combat key challenges threatening the future of humanity, United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres said during the 2022 UN General Assembly Tuesday, citing the climate crisis, Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and other conflicts around the world as examples of the “big dramatic challenges of our age.”
