Hong Kong business tycoon Jimmy Lai, who owns pro-democracy newspaper Apple Daily, has resigned as chairman of Next Digital Ltd, as per filings. The 73-year-old media mogul was charged earlier this month with colluding with foreign forces under the city’s new national security law.
