<p class="MsoNormal">Mustapha Adib was appointed Prime Minister-designate on August 31 following the resignation of the Hassan Diab led cabinet in the aftermath of the Port Beirut blast on August 4 that killed more than 190 people wounded thousands and ravaged large parts of the capital.</p>
