<p dir="ltr">US-based chipmaker Advanced Micro Devices (AMD) announced Monday it is buying server builder ZT Systems for $4.9 billion in a cash-and-stock deal as it plans to strengthen its artificial intelligence (AI) capacity to bolster its efforts to compete with Nvidia.</p>
