<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="line-height:115%">LG Electronics (LG), South Korea’s second-largest appliance firm, on Thursday, announced that it had acquired over 50% stake in the Silicon Valley-based television data firm Alphonso. The investment of nearly $80 million turns LG into Alphonso’s largest investor, giving it a controlling stake in the data firm. </span></p>
