<p class="paragraph-paragraph-2bgue"><span style="color:#313132">Mercedes-Benz of Daimler AG unveiled a new electric compact SUV EQA on Wednesday, as part of efforts to take on competitor Tesla Inc and sell more emissions-free cars to customers to reach targets in Europe and China.</span></p><p class="paragraph-paragraph-2bgue"><span style="color:#313132">The EQA would initially have a range of 426 kilometers (265 miles). With a 500km variant coming later, the luxury brand carmaker said in a video demonstration.</span></p>
