<p class="MsoNormal">The demand for cars operating on alternative fuel sources has surged in Europe in the quarter ending June compared to petrol and diesel cars that have lost their market shares, according to the data released by the European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association (ACEA). While the number of petrol and diesel cars sold in the second quarter of 2021 moderately increased compared to the low figures of the same period last year owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, their market shares have declined significantly.</p>
