<p class="MsoNormal">German multinational carmaker and owner of the Mercedes-Benz and Smart brands, Daimler, has sold its Smart car factory located in northeast France to UK’s petrochemicals firm Ineos. The auto giant had surprised everyone when it earlier revealed that it was putting the factory up for sale. The decision was taken to minimize losses due to the coronavirus pandemic.</p>
