US, the worst-hit by the COVID-19 pandemic, has reported record high cases and hospitalizations on the eve of Thanksgiving. The country reported 1,76,733 cases on Wednesday, and 2,300 deaths, the most in a day since May. Experts have warned that increased travel for Thanksgiving could lead to a further surge in cases.
