Switzerland announced that it will halt all cross-border rail service to neighboring Italy from Thursday as the train personnel are not equipped to carry out the COVID-19 safety checks mandated by the Italian government. Tuesday also saw Europe crossing the 20 million COVID-19 cases mark.
