A new report by the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA) released Tuesday states that renewable power has become increasingly cheaper than any new electricity capacity based on fossil fuels. The research estimates that renewable power installations could form a key component of economic stimulus packages in the wake of the global pandemic.
