The United States plans to reimpose UN sanctions on Iran at the end of the week, a move that is widely met with international criticism. US envoy Elliott Abrams said, "All UN sanctions on Iran will be in effect again at the end of the week, at 8:00 pm Saturday" that is at 00:00 GMT Sunday.
