South Korea has announced a $43.2 billion plan to build the world’s largest offshore wind power plant by 2030 with a maximum capacity of 8.2 gigawatts (GW). The plan is part of the country’s efforts to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and make it carbon neutral by 2050.
