<p dir="ltr">State-run energy firm Sonatrach has awarded a $2.3 billion contract to a consortium composed of US company Baker Hughes and Tecnimont, a subsidiary of Italy’s Maire, for a gas-boosting project for the Hassi R’Mel natural gas field in Algeria.</p>
