<p class="MsoNormal">Paris-based International Energy Agency has predicted a decline of around 2% in global electricity demand in 2020. The massive fall in demand, worse than the drop of 0.6% recorded after the global financial crisis in 2009, is attributed to the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on economic activity.</p>
