In the future, coal will no longer be the main source of China’s power, said Li Gao, the director-general of the Department of Climate Change in China’s Environment Ministry, the AP reported. While China will still need to use coal for its energy needs, Li told the press conference it will not be developed widely and will be “strictly regulated.”
