British energy major BP announced Monday that it has been selected as the preferred bidder for developing two offshore wind farms in the UK along with its German partner Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW). The two wind projects of 3 gigawatts (GW), mark BP’s entry in the UK offshore wind sector.
