<p class="MsoNormal">The UAE government has introduced several key amendments to long-standing personal status, criminal code and other laws on Saturday, with the approval of the president His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan. These amendments affect laws governing divorce and separation, the division of wills and assets, consumption of alcohol, suicide and the protection of women.</p>
