<p class="MsoNormal">The COVID-19 pandemic has adversely affected the economies in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with the currencies of several countries touching historic lows. Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Sudan and Iran were most vulnerable to the currency depreciation. </p>
