Prosecutors in the United States Attorney's Office are planning to open a federal murder investigation into the death of Brian D. Sicknick, a U.S. Capitol Police officer who died Thursday night from injuries sustained during a conflict with pro-Trump rioters who sieged the U.S. Capitol on Wednesday.
