<p class="MsoNormal">Despite the Sultanate’s implementation of a medium-term plan to reduce the fiscal deficit and the application of several “austerity measures” this year, Oman has external debt repayments of $10.7 billion, around 7.5% of GDP due over 2021-2022.</p>
