Seven Arab states—Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Algeria, Iraq, Libya, Egypt, and Qatar—held a combined total of about 1,330.5 tons of gold reserves valued at $121.6 billion. Saudi Arabia led the pack with holdings of 323.1 tons worth $29.5 billion. Lebanon followed closely behind with reserves of 286.8 tons valued at $26.2 billion, according to the World Gold Council (WGC).
